Introduction to Moodboards

Moodboards in QBank are designed to make asset sharing and collaboration effortless. Whether you need to present files, collect submissions, or manage external access to assets, moodboards are the perfect solution. In this video, we’ll walk through creating, customizing, and sharing moodboards to streamline your workflows.

Creating a Moodboard

Steps to create

1. Initiate Moodboard Creation:

   • Click the “Moodboard” button below the search area.

   • Select “Create Moodboard” from the dropdown menu.

2. Customize Settings:

   • Choose a title that reflects the purpose of the moodboard for easy identification.

   • Add a description to provide instructions or context for viewers.

3. Set Permissions:

   • Enable a PIN for secure access if needed.

   • Set start and expiration dates for time-sensitive sharing.

4. Choose a Template:

   • Select a pre-defined template, such as the Business Moodboard, to fit your needs.

5. Enable Notifications:

   • Opt to receive alerts for downloads, uploads, or other interactions.

Advanced Options

• Add filters to create a Dynamic moodboard, which automatically updates as new assets matching the criteria are added or removed in QBank.

• Use the “Access” tab to manage permissions for specific user groups or external stakeholders.

Once satisfied, click “Create.” You can save these settings for future use by duplicating the moodboard.

Adding Assets to a Moodboard

Methods for Adding Assets

1. Drag and drop - Drag files directly from your asset library into the moodboard on the left panel.

2. Use the add button - Right-click an asset or use the moodboard icon in the top menu bar to add it.

Dynamic Moodboards

For automated updates, apply one or more filters to the moodboard. For example, create a moodboard that includes only assets tagged with a specific project name. Filters ensure that the moodboard stays current without manual updates.

Sharing and Managing Moodboards

Sharing Options

1. Copy the URL - Click the chain icon to generate a shareable link.

2. Preview the Moodboard - Use the “eye” icon to view how the moodboard will appear to stakeholders.

3. Send via Email - Share the moodboard directly from QBank.

Stakeholder Interactions

Depending on your settings, stakeholders can:

• View and download assets.

• Upload files directly into the moodboard.

• Comment on individual assets.

Editing Moodboards

To make changes, right-click on the moodboard and select “Edit.” Adjust settings like:

• Enabling or disabling downloads.

• Adding or updating filters.

• Changing permissions in the “Access” tab.
